The highly anticipated Duxer X-Press chairlift in the Zillertal Arena has reached a major milestone, with the first chairlift now successfully installed! Following last week's successful cable splicing, the project is progressing rapidly.
The Duxer X-Press is being built on the Hochkrimml-Gerlosplatte side and will start from Duxeralm. After 32 years of service, the 4-person Duxeralmbahn chairlift is being replaced by a modern 6-person lift.
Meanwhile, in the Zillertal Arena, construction continues on another chairlift that will connect Gerlos with Zell am Ziller.
