Exciting news from Gemsstock! The glacier is officially prepped for the upcoming winter season, as a team of 15 worked hard this week to remove most of the protective glacier cover. Now, it's all set for the first snow, which we’re hoping will arrive any time soon.
In their latest post, the team shared stunning images of the glacier—from the view inside the gondola to shots of the crew at work. Removing and folding all the fleece covers by hand is no easy task, but with those breathtaking views, it’s definitely worth it!
The Andermatt SkiArena in Switzerland has 101 km of slopes and will open on November 16.
