Starting Saturday, September 28th, the 6er Lärmstange 2 lift on the Hintertux Glacier will be operational, which is remarkable for this time of year. Rarely has this lift opened so early in the season. With this early opening, the already extensive range of pistes will be further expanded.
Currently, more than 20 kilometers of slopes are already open on the Hintertux Glacier. With the launch of the 6er Lärmstange 2, it is expected that the red piste 11, blue piste 10, and blue piste 3 towards the Tuxer Fernerhaus will also open, adding even more ski kilometers. The ski area has not yet officially confirmed this, but the 11 is almost certain, as this one is necessary to access the 6er Lärmstange 2 lift.
Ski enthusiasts can look forward to an exceptional start to the season, with more skiing options than usual for late September.
