Hintertux Glacier Reopens with 95 cm of Snow and 8 Lifts

The Hintertux Glacier, one of the few glaciers where skiing is possible year-round, has reopened today after a temporary closure. Winter sports enthusiasts can now enjoy 95 cm of fresh snow, spread over 17 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes.

After a brief closure due to low demand, 8 ski lifts are back in operation today to take visitors to the top of the glacier. The glacier is open to winter sports enthusiasts daily from 8:15 AM to 1:30 PM.
