Snow fans, it’s almost time! In just one month, on October 11th, 2024, the Stubaier Glacier will open for the winter season. If conditions are right, it will be one of the first ski resorts to open this year.
Easily accessible from Innsbruck (just 45 minutes by car), the glacier is set to welcome skiers and snowboarders back. With 26 lifts and 108 kilometers of pistes—including 38 kilometers of blue runs, 23 kilometers of red runs, and 39 kilometers of ski routes—there’s plenty of variety. At the start of the season, only the higher-altitude lifts will be in operation.
